Caterer in Mumbai

Caterers usually request an advance upon booking, a second payment after menu finalisation and guest count confirmation, and the balance post-event. GST is applicable on food and beverage services as per government norms. Always clarify the invoicing structure, including any hidden charges, to ensure budget transparency for your event in Mumbai.

Reputable caterers have backup plans, including substitute chefs and additional service staff, to manage emergencies seamlessly. They also factor in buffer time for setup, especially for outdoor catering hire, ensuring all food stations are ready well before guests arrive. Discuss their contingency protocols for unexpected delays or equipment malfunction during your event planning.

After your event, caterers typically handle complete kitchen area cleanup, ensuring the venue is left tidy. They also manage responsible disposal of leftover food, often coordinating with local charities or food banks if quantities permit, or adhering to health and safety guidelines for waste. Confirm these details during contract finalisation.
