Dj Monish

“Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.”
That’s how Monish describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive
musical selections are his own therapy.
He started his musical journey back in 2005.
Having grown up in the city of
Bollywood he deeply fell in love with the sensational music that our country has
produced over the years and also found great interests in listening to foreign music all
which became infused with his own love for both deep house and edm, Monish ended
up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets
where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best:
beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal
hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.He is currently serving as
a resident DJ at Garware Club Lounge Bar
A very active member of his local community, Monish is no stranger to the clubs and
bars of Mumbai. He has played in numerous nightclubs, patios and special events, and
his music never turns the crowd down. Apart from being really professional and down
to earth , Monish never fails to help people whenever the opportunity is there.
"For me, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get
you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of
genre, tempo, style, or release date
