1. What makes DJ Vipul SDR different from other DJs?
I am a certified Music Producer and the founder of Tech Vibes Studio. This means I bring studio-quality sound engineering and on-the-spot remixing mastery to every event, ensuring flawless transitions and superior audio quality compared to standard DJs.
2. Do you have specialized experience for Gujarati events?
Yes, I specialize in the highly sought-after "Garba Mix Master" style—blending traditional, authentic Garba music with high-energy Bollywood, Commercial, and EDM tracks for a unique, powerful, and modern festive experience.
3. What genres do you cover?
I have a versatile, wide-ranging library covering Bollywood (Retro to Latest), Commercial, EDM, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and custom Regional/Theme mixes as per the client's preference.
4. Do you use your own equipment?
I use only high-end, professional-grade equipment (controllers, mixers, and back-up systems). While I prefer to use my own setup for superior quality, I am flexible and can easily integrate with the in-house sound systems of large venues.
5. How far in advance should I book you?
Due to my commitments as a mentor at Tech Vibes Studio and a full calendar, it is recommended to book at least 2-3 months in advance for large events (Weddings/Festivals) to secure the date.
6. Can we meet to discuss the event and music playlist?
Absolutely. A personalized consultation is crucial. We will have a detailed discussion to understand your vision, crowd profile, and create a customized playlist flow suitable for different phases of your event.
7. What happens if there is a technical issue during the event?
As a professional, I always carry redundant equipment (backup gear) and have a clear contingency plan. My background in production ensures I can quickly troubleshoot and maintain a continuous, seamless performance with minimal downtime.
8. Do you also provide lighting or special effects?
I focus primarily on the musical performance and sonic experience. However, I work with top-tier vendors and can coordinate all required lighting, visuals, and special effects to ensure a comprehensive production setup for your event.
9. What is your standard booking process and advance payment requirement?
To secure the date, a 40% non-refundable advance payment (booking fee) is required upon signing the contract. The advance confirms your exclusive booking for that date, and further discussions/preparations begin only after this payment is received.
10. When is the remaining payment due?
The remaining 60% balance payment is due 7 days prior to the event date. This ensures a smooth focus on the performance and logistics on the event day itself.
11. What are the cancellation and refund policies?
The initial 40% booking fee is non-refundable as it covers the block-out of the date and initial preparation costs. If the client cancels the event, no further amount is due, but the advance will not be refunded.
12. Do you charge extra for extended performance time (overtime)?
Yes. Any performance time extending beyond the pre-agreed hours mentioned in the contract will be charged at an hourly overtime rate of 8,000/-. This charge must be settled immediately at the end of the event.
